By Savage Fine Art ( Founded 1902 within a double gilt oval mount and expensive antique gilt frame with moulded plaster flowers on the corners.Fully glazed and sealed in excellent condition.

LETTER Attached Verso Reads:
Engraver, water colourist and musician, the son of an artist father and an artistic mother.

He married the daughter of J.Hardy, also an artist.
-
He exhibited genre subjects from 1857-1866 at many well known galleries.

Examples of his work can be seen in the Victorian and Albert Museum and also in the Wakefield Art Gallery.
